90 tracks from 1990 (almost) that were hitting the charts and hitting the clubs.
Commercial hip hop, dance music and indie labels totally dominated both. Rave music was exploding, New Jack Swing & jazzy boom bap hip hop was fully forming. Alternative rock was blossoming with strains of shoegaze and grunge. Also, everyone still used the same three breaks and no-one cared. The Funky Drummer beat was another that dominated.
It was a knockout year. So much so, Mike Tyson took his first k/o.
