His mixes, radio shows and club sets have seen him awarded acclaim over the years from BBC 1Xtra, Mixcloud & Fact Magazine. In addition to a fortnightly Friday night show on Soho Radio, he's spun several times on BBC 6 Music for Huey Morgan, following five years on hip hop station, Itch FM, previous shows on NTS, Balamii and Resonance FM, and various guest spots over the years.

Bobby has played at legendary venues such as Royal Albert Hall, Ministry Of Sound, Fabric, Brixton Academy, The Roundhouse, Koko, o2 Forum, The Jazz Cafe, Electric Brixton, Somerset House, Royal Festival Hall and even the Natural History Museum. He's supported a long list of legends from across the music world, from DJ Jazzy Jeff to Happy Mondays, Roni Size to Jay Electronica. From his early roots playing in Basingstoke bars, he’s since held down decade-long residencies at Big Chill in London, Moles in Bath and Soundwave Festival in Tisno, Croatia.

Additionally to DJing, Bobby has spent his adult life working in numerous record shops, from running his own independent store in Bath, to Rough Trade in East London, and for record labels such as CoOp Presents, Greco Roman, Apollo/R&S, Total Refreshment Centre, Dimensions and Extra Soul Perception. He has provided session work and guest mixes for the likes of Ninja Tune's Solid Steel, DJ Yoda, Roots Manuva's Banana Klan, breaks producer Stabilizer & soundtrack label Death Waltz Records, to name a few, featuring in The Guardian, i-D, Dazed & Confused and Noisey (Vice), as well as turning out regular mixtapes and solo productions of his own. In recent times, his 80’s & 90’s mix series ‘Bobby & The Xennials’ have amassed thousands of plays.

Since 2016, he’s been label manager of First Word Records, named 'Label Of The Year' at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards 2019 and home to artists such as Children of Zeus, Allysha Joy and Kaidi Tatham.

Other random facts include dancing in a Chemical Brothers video, teaching the Mayor of Wimbledon to scratch, and making Banksy tea. Bobby has established himself over the years as one of the capital's most diverse DJs, blending numerous genres & playing all manner of events, continually bounty-hunting for the perfect beat.
